As probably most of you know by now Comex’s iPad 2 jailbreak got leaked before it was even out by Comex and many people are using it to jailbreak their iPad 2′s. Comex ofcourse found out about this as it was allover the web , with people leaking the jailbreak even more by adding their own links and also because of blogs who were reporting this very important news. Comex tweeted that someone used a special attack, known as a dictionary attack (For more info about a dictionary attack click here), to leak a buggy version of the jailbreak and which pust him on a time limit which blocks him from entering his own files before a certain time expires.
Comex’s first tweet: Congratulations, some moron used a dictionary attack(?) to leak a buggy version and put me on a useless time limit.
After tweeting this, Comex tweeted again and said that he hopes the time limit wont last for long for him to continue working, this shows us how determined Comex is and we should all thank him very much. After this he tells us again to save our shsh files for 4.3.3 by using this guide over here. After this he adds some extra tweets which can be seen below:
Comex’s 3rd Tweet: I could be wrong about the dictionary attack. don’t really care.
Comex’s 4th Tweet:I also don’t know if the version that got leaked is full of debug printfs or something, since people were saying it delays bootup.
We will only have to wait and see what Comex is going to do about this and if he will release the final jailbreak or not!
