It has been too much wait for the iPad 2 jailbreak, lots of promises but no real thing yet. We had warned the world soon after the release of the device that the jailbreaking possibilities are too few. On the contrary, Dev Team kept on promising the jailbreak again and again and are still doing so. The latest word from the iPhone Dev Team on the matter was a clarification that @comex was working on the jailbreak. Now that the real iPad 2 jailbreak is no where to be seen yet, some scams have raised their heads all around to snatch your hard earned money. One of such scam websites just wanted to place an ad on thegadgets.net. We have denied the approval but we can see the ad running on several blogs (who obviously don’t care about your wallet and would run just any ad.)

Following the attached link, I’m presented with a page asking for $19 for the jailbreak! Have a look:

If you happen to encounter any such scam asking money for the iPad 2 jailbreak, keep in mind that jailbreaks and unlocks are always free and will always be. Do not pay to anybody who promises to give you access to a pre-release version of any jailbreak, promises to inform you of the release or anything else.
